Lead too short
Kiz✓ Verified Purchase•September 24, 2023
Was hoping this would solve my problem with the valve not staying open once the bypass button was released, it didn't and that's no fault of the thermocouple. They could have put a longer lead on it, it was 6" too short. Arrived exactly when promised.
Wire lead is too short. Spliced new wire. Heater fired up.

My Dyna Glo Pro propane heater would light but it wouldn't stay lit if i turned the knob past "ignite". I bought a thermocouple & installed it & it now works perfectly. Getting the heater apart was a but challenging but not impossible. Great find!
Works well. East install.

Works good. Easy installation on my dynaGlo 60,000 btu propane heater. Remove 16 screws (including the hold down clip). Remove rear cover and fan assembly. Cut 2 cable ties. Remove three wires from terminals (white, blue and yellow (the yellow is the wire to this part) in my case). Remove the copper colored wire (ring terminal/Phillips head screw, which is the 2nd wire on new part). I removed the hold down that came with new thermocouple and replaced with the old one. Reassemble making sure wires are clear of fan. Allow 10 seconds or so to warm up on the first firing. About 10-15 mins.
Good thermocouple

Remove old thermocouple, place this thermocouple in as the old one was in, move thermocouple to where pilot light stays on it at all times. Ng and LP thermocouple is the same. Note: Pilot fire must burn the tip of the thermocouple. it takes about 10 minutes.
