I got my adjustable desk quickly. It's very sturdy and heavy, just hard to bring up when I want to work standing. The other issue is it's not suitable to sit and work from it unless you also have an adjustable chair because it sits higher up from the desk. I tried sitting and I was looking up to it, which starts making my neck and arms sore. Very good quality, cherry wood is beautiful, ordering, and shipping was great.

This is a great adjustable desk, I ordered one Halter ED-600 in June 2017 and a second on January 2018. The desk is build well and very sturdy, I have two 23" monitors and two USB hub, and yet to adjust the height is still easy. Just a little muscle is needed, even my petite wife is able to adjust the height by herself, so not too much strength is needed to life the desk. Attached pictures to show some of the heights that I use. I have a bad back so I need to be able to stand when working or using computer at home. It is also just a healthier habit.

It is very easy to setup and use.
The Halter ED-600 desk comes fully assembled, just need to take it out of the box and take the plastic wrap off. Place it on top of a tabletop and your are set to go.
To raise or lower the desk- squeeze the lever on both the right and left side of the top part of the desk and lift or lower to your desired height. See attached photos for the two lever. That's it, it will lock into place and if it doesn't just move it up to down a few centimeters and it will lock into position. There is no need to drill into a table top or flat surface to secure the Halter ED-600 desk into place. Even with two heavy LCD monitors on the top the desk is still very stable and doesn't wobble at all. This thing is build strong and using good materials.

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good standing desk.

My adjustable table top arrived today and I am happy with it. I was especially impressed with the mechanism, it feels strong, sturdy, and it is quiet. I have it on top of a desk that has a depth of 23.62 inches and a length of 47.24 inches. When I have the tabletop lowered to sitting position I have about 5" of open table space on both sides. When I raise it to standing position it moves up and does not extend forward, therefore, I do not have to stand back to adjust. I am glad that I bought this one and I will try to remember to update with a three month review.

I was impressed with the build quality. It arrived fully assembled and ready to set up on my desktop. The levers are positions on either side and are easy to depress. The lift system is buoyant and is able to easily support your entire system so there should be no fear of lowering the system too fast or straining to lift to its top position. I am 5'10" and the top position places the keyboard perfectly for ergonomic purposes. As an alternative to the more expensive systems this one is well worth the money.

This is a great item. I haven't been able to stand the entire day, so it's usually half a day sitting, and half a day standing. But it has been very helpful with my neck and shoulder. I also feel more productive when standing. Raising it up and down has been very easy. I didn't realize how much I would enjoy standing, and how helpful it has been.
