used for about 40 minutes straight to flush my tankless water heater with vinegar. worked OK, got pretty hot. flushed it out before storing. real test will be when I run it again next year.

A much better quality pump than I expected. The leader hose for the suction side was well made too. The pump was well packed in a cardboard box. I noticed the manufacture had placed a small amount of silicone grease in the discharge side outlet of the pump for storage. This is sound practice. Just make sure to clean out with a Q tip before using. People have complained about the noise level but pumps of this design all have a noise level from the impeller in the housing. I found this pump no louder then others I had to rent to drain out a water bed in the past. Make sure to prime the pump before plugging into the outlet. Instructions were well put together. I used a small dab of silicone grease applied by a Q tip to put into storage. Just slightly coat the rubber impeller.
