I've washed my rims and still not a loose end. I've even applied glow strips over them, peeled off the glow strips and added different glow strips and peeled again and STILL these strips are fully intact. Just amazing,

This product is very easy to use and has great results. Just be careful how you handle the roll, it unravels easily. I am very pleased and would definitely buy again. It needs a little heat to adhesive to the plastic of a kayak. First I cleaned very well with alcohol to prep the surface. Then I careful peeled and stuck down the pinstripe. It is easy to peel back up and line up if need be. Once I was done I noticed it wasn't sticking as well as I had hoped. Then I read an answer on the reviews that said it might need heat like from a hairdryer. I just set my kayak out in the sun. The heat from the sun made it adhes to the plastic nicely. It looks great! Can't wait to show it off!

Given what I paid for this, I'm surprised at the quality thickness, ease of application, and truly great appearance. When applying, as long as you're careful and take your time , if you let it touch the surface lightly by accident, you can pull it up without stretching or deforming it, as with thinner, cheaper tapes. Also easy to cut accurately with an X-Acto blade. I'm reserving the fifth star to see how it holds up in color, finish and sticking power after a year, but I expect to be pleased with the performance.
