Very cute coat! I got extra small, wish there was an xxs option available as my chi is only 3 pounds. Nice quality, says Air Force on the top which I love. The hood is removable, makes it convenient :)

The media could not be loaded. Measured my 8lb chihuahua mix and determined he would wear a Medium size. I ordered it and it was HUGE! I then returned it and ordered a small and it is so perfect I have never had a sweater or garment fit him so well. The garment is out of the way when he needs to potty. (that is rare) It also keeps him warm so trips outside in the freezing cold last longer than usual. The hood is removable for warmer days. When he is outside the hood shields his ears from frostbite. I like that it has sleeves. The deicer has been a huge problem. This dog has 3 heart conditions, hypothyroid, liver and kidney low function too so he is a special needs pet and reacts horribly to the chems that companies spray in our neighborhood. All this cover is great to shield him from irritants. Also, with more WARMTH! I honestly have to mention one more time the perfect fit!

3 NEGATIVES:
I wish the lining wasn't synthetic and more an actual down jacket like what a human gets in a winter coat. It needs to be practical for this fur-kid.

As some others have mentioned: Where is the slit for dogs that wear a harness. I feel this should be a standard. I will probably create one myself considering how much we love the coat.

This coat IS NOT WATERPROOF! The muddy water, salty deicer and grime soak right into the fabric. If I had realized this I have a product that is for protecting vinal and I would have used it. It is really amazing stuff.

Lastly, it is a shame that soon after I grabbed this coat I wanted to buy another one for him so I can wash this one more often and the price went up 10$. I was willing to spend the 20$ on it but wow.....the upped price seems excessive. This coat is def all synthetic. It is NOT as it claims in the main title "PetBoBo Cat Dog Doggie Down" . There is no "down" in this jacket just to clarify.

Just got this coat and so far so good. It seems very warm but since the temps are in the single digits we put a sweater underneath. My baby is a terrier mix so he's short haired and we have him groomed because of the massive shedding. One note to anyone questioning sizing, we ordered an X-large because of the previous reviews. He's 21 lbs and 21 inches long and as you can see by the pic it just about covers his back. I do like the fact that it snaps closed on his belly so I don't need to pull it over his head. I also love that the hood is removable as every coat we've purchased with a hood is way too big for his head. As far as waterproof goes I'll report in after our upcoming snow storm. He LOVES to play in the snow so I'm hoping it performs well in that area. So far I'm very happy with my purchase.

My dog is not fat yet I found this a little tight. Might need one size bigger.
