Never had a magnetic switch, love it. 3 modes, perfect - simple. We will be water testing it this weekend to about 30ft but with triple o rings I have no doubt that this is waterproof to 150. Solidly built. I'll update if it doesn't work well. Seems bright, haven't tested how long batteries last on high. I did buy another battery to swap out. Fits nicely in my BC pocket, or around my wrist. I tried another that twisted to turn on "mechanical switch" and honestly, I wanted a flashlight I can operate with ONE hand without having to leave it on.

I was looking for a waterproof flashlight for my son for his camping and I stumbled on this. Durable little flashlight that can withstand the beating of a 10 year old is capable of during a normal day. This is great because it is waterproof so when I drop it in the water it can work normally. It is also super bright so I can see very well in the dark. The price was within the range I was looking. I don't think I could've found a better one.

This short, easily gripped dive light provides a very strong beam and can easily fit into one's BC pocket for use as a secondary light for night dives. I use it for spear fishing. My husband scuba dives and since we recently moved to Orlando he will be going more often. I wanted him to have to have a flashlight as it can get quite dark under water. I can't tell how much I love this flashlight. Its shell is think and heavy. I just looked for a good quality flashlight for the general usage, I don't know how it will work in diving, but this flashlight has exceeded my expect. the handle is too cold to hold, If used in winter, a warm cover is suggested.
