Sticking in one vehicle and not the other?

Have it in multiple vehicles, ended up getting a Jeep so I replaced the adhesive tape to put the magnet in that vehicle. Would not stick. Only thing that would stick to the dash was gorilla tape. Take the adhesive off add 2 sided tape and stick the non-sticky side to the back of the magnet. Since doing this I have had no problems.

This car mount works perfectly; it doesn't fall off my dash and it holds my iPhone firmly. I would recommend it to anyone. I love that it comes with thin, metal plates to attach to the back of the phone, so I didn't have to buy a new phone case. The plate is thin enough that it doesn't interfere with my phone case at all.
