I searched for different ring sizers and I'm very glad I got this one. My hands swell a lot and I don't want to get a smaller ring just for it to be uncomfortable later.
Pros:
-It stays on! I take my ring on and off all day. I don't want to mess with a sizer that falls off or needs adjusting every time.
-This sizer is comfortable and doesn't scratch me at all, even the end I cut.
-I don't have problems with this pulling my hair or my cat's, but I don't wear my ring when washing or styling my hair, and I usually don't wear it at home. Just running my hand through my hair I don't have any tugging issues.
-It is completely customizable - just cut the one you want to your desired length. I cut mine so that it loops around 8 times. This way it doesn't go up the side of finger, which would be uncomfortable.
-It is so easy to put on and take off if your hands swell. The best thing about it is that you get a lot of the sizers, so take it off when you need to. If you lose it, who cares? There are more at home and it isn't expensive to replace if you go through them all.

A couple small cons:
-It does show on the inside of my hand, but no one has asked about it and I barely notice.
-I have had a little discoloring, but I think any product would give you that. Sunscreen, lotion, soap... of course it's not perfectly clear anymore.

This adjuster works really well. But I do want to point out that if you're ring is just slightly loose, this may not help. The 2mm PVC is larger than we expected and when we tried to use it on one ring, it made the ring too snug and it was putting pressure on the underside of her finger. We had another ring we used it on and it worked perfectly, so it will depend on how loose your ring is.

A really nice option for those rings that can't be resized.

Highly recommend this for anyone that needs a little more secure fitting for their ring. It even prevents the ring from slipping and keeps the stone upright. It does not scratch your ring but if you are in contact with sand or any small grit, it could get stuck and scrape your band. Cleaning it is fairly easy task, remove the plastic adjuster and wash the adjuster in lukewarm water with soap. You can cut to length the sizing, I do recommend cutting the edges round as it will bother you less when you first wear it. It does become pliable and soft as you wear it and it discolors but works just as well!
I am losing weight and don't want to get it resized until I hit my goal, this is a wonderful alternative in the meantime!

I used this product to adjust the size on three rings. It was easy to "install" this; just start, twist (check for sizing) then cut. I was also happy to get two different sizes. The rings were "costume" jewelry and not worth the cost of resizing; if they even do inexpensive rings that is. I originally bought some for different fingers and later changed my mind and wanted the option of wearing them on a "non ring finger". All of the rings fit comfortably and the clear material helps to, somewhat, conceal it . . . well, makes it less noticeable. Glad I found this solution . . . works for me!

I just recieved these. I immediately put on my ring. Which by the way I already had sized down and waited two weeks to get back and it's still a smudge to big. After trying several other ring guards that failed badly I found these. I must say I love them. I put my hands i water a lot and wash my hands frequently threw the day and this guard is working great and is not noticeable like others. I love it. Up- date about this ring guard I've only used a little piece on my ring and it's been on since I purchase these guards. I love it. Very comfortable and I haven't taken my ring off since I recieved this plastic spiral ring guard
