Supposedly the gold standard for professionals that paint furniture. Yes, it spreads easily, but still care needs to be taken to minimize brush strokes. I have found that the highest quality paints at the big box home improvement stores work for me just as well at half the price.

You know how someone talks something up so much, you're disappointed when you finally try it because it doesn't live up to the hype? That's what the company did with this paint. It's a good paint, but it didn't live up to the promises. I bought 500 mL of chocolate brown to use on a China cabinet, and it wasn't quite enough paint. The cabinet has some dips and grooves, and I bought Fusion so that I wouldn't have to go through the trouble of sanding. Based on the company's promises, I also opted to not apply a primer. It took 3-4 coats to fully cover the original wood finish. I highly recommend sanding you paint!
The China cabinet is in a very low traffic area, so I've waited a couple of months to see if a finish was necessary. It is! The slightest graze of a fingernail over the paint leaves a scuff mark, so I can't imagine wiping a dust cloth over it in case there's a larger piece of dirt. There's also a scratch where the paint was completely taken off, showing the original finish, though I'm not sure what caused that.
The good things I can say about it -- it's a nice dark brown, so the color is just what I wanted. It also went on smoothly.
It would be a great paint if you're going through the prepping process of sanding and using primer, and then adding a finished coat of something. But by the time you do all that, it's not worth the extra cost of Fusion Mineral Paint.
Excellent Coverage, Perfect Color

I used one coat on both my wooden coffee table & end table, and then just touched up in spots that needed it. This paint went on so smooth & the coverage is amazing! I still have about a third of a container left after painting the bases of both pieces of furniture. It looks grayish green in the container, but it goes on as more of a grayish white which was exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful, easy to use paint!
So much flexibility in creating

Love, love this paint . I wasn't sure when I read the reviews but I decided to try this paint by starting with sample sizes. The coverage is fantastic and when it drys there is a soft shine with out adding any other product. I also used it like a stain and I was surprised at how easy it was to do. The wood grain shows through and it doesn't look painted.

I just spent about 30 hours stripping and sanding an old dresser. I tried this on a couple of small pieces. I've never had so many brush strokes in my life. There is no self-leveling property to it. I used a Purdy, a soft Woolster and a regular chip brush all with the same results. The good thing about the product was that it dries very hard (but too fast) and dries hard. Dried so hard I had a time trying to sand off a drip down the side. I've wasted my money on this. Now I have to go back and sand off what I put on.
