The last laptop bag you'll need

I'd been eyeing this bag for months waiting for the dark static color to get back into stock. When it finally did I immediately pulled the trigger and haven't regretted it for a second!
This bag is high quality and stylish. Roomy, but compacted.
Mine main work computer is an Asus G14, which easily fits into the computer sleeve on the back and keeps it well protected. I also have a 15.6" Asus Zenscreen I carry around as a second monitor in the main compartment.
Even with that chunky portable screen there's enough room for few note pads or any other goodies I may need. The other pockets are a perfect size for charging cables and my Amazon basics 100w portable charger. I rarely use the sunglass pocket for glasses, but instead keep a small 8BitDo gaming controller in there along with my medicine pillbox. The other top pocket contains pencils, pens, typical office supplies.
The side pockets are stellar as well. One contains my Leatherman, while the other perfectly houses my G305 mouse.
I've been caught out in the rain a few times and while the bag does retain the dampness, I've never had anything soak in completely. However, I do have an external rain cover I carry just in case things get really wild.
This pack is extremely comfortable and breathes well. I got it during the winter months, but so far with the raise in temperature, my bad and shoulders have stayed cool.
For a backpack this is on the pricy side, but you 100% get what you pay for! This was an excellent investment that should last me for years to come.

i like the bag but they could of added more length to adjust shoulder strap for taller or bigger guys. the phone pocket is not big enough for modern phones hint hint. but the rest of the bag is great. i do like all the room and other big pockets comfortable and dont ride my shirt up. ok for ccw. i do like the luggage pocket idea. perfect for day trips travel or edc. the laptop protector is overkill but i get it. i removed the bulky plastic thing cuz i dont use laptops
Pretty good backpack, but could use a couple improvements.

I bought this for my Dell G15 "gaming" laptop. It's a 15.6" laptop, but because it's a "gaming" laptop with more cooling, it's wider than most, at about 10.75", whereas most 15.6" ones these days are under 9.5". This mean that my laptop won't fit many backpacks that advertise they'll fit a 15 or 16" laptop. Mine fits in the Ogio Renegade RSS just fine.
It's comfortable on my shoulders, even loaded with some weight, and I like the stiff-ish back. I ride a bike everwhere, so the pronounced contact points help well keeping the back from contacting my arched-over back. Actually, I could like it if they were a bit more pronounced, but that says more about my back and activities than it does the bag.
The various pockets and compartments are well (mostly) thought-out and does things better than most.
Opportunities for improvement:
1. It'd be nice if it were compatible with hydration bladders. Yes, it has waterbottle holders, and yes, water and electronics don't mix. But it'd be a handy option, because while there's few outdoor backpacks that are also designed for carrying a laptop, there are even fewer laptop bags that are meant for outdoor activities. Some crossover capability would be great. Best I've found is the Osprey Tropos.
2. Use heavier duty fabric on the bottom like 1000D Cordura, with beefy stitching. If you're gonna market it as a commuter bag, or for students, then it needs to hold up to being set on bus floors (with rough anti-slip surfaces), concrete, etc.
3. Stronger yoke. The amount of fabric, combined with the corresponding amount of stitching looks and feels like a weak point when the bag is loaded up with a laptop and all the textbooks students have to lug around.
4. The "tech vault" is too deep and cuts too much into the usable space. From what I've read in other reviews, this is a common complaint. Make it removable, or better yet, make it swappable with one that's not as deep, so the user can choose which he/she prefers.
5. The organizer/admin panel is absurd. So much surface area, so much of it wasted. A zipper pouch for business cards (what the heck else could I use it for)? A tiny mesh pouch to hold loose TicTacs? Or how about pen pockets that are deep enough to actually use? I forgot to measure them, but they're like 3.5" deep, maybe 4". So shallow that even a Bic Click won't fit deeply enough for the clip to keep it from falling out. There's like 2" or so of unused space below the pen slots; there's no reason they're so shallow and weren't made deeper. Unless someone forgot to convert from metric to inches or something. That'd explain the misuse of the rest of the space in that pocket too.
Honestly, it's the because of the organizer/admin pouch that I chose to return the backpack. Maybe it's a small gripe, and not a critical one, but it annoys the crap out of me and I don't spend $150 on things that annoy the crap out of me. That and the somewhat flimsy feeling yoke.
