This is another great baby toy from Sassy in many ways...the bright fun colors are visually stimulating...the various textures and materials are tactile stimulation and, of course the sound is yet another sensory stimulation for baby. The ball portion of the rattle is a little tricky to clean if your little one happens to say... for example...get particles of a teething biscuit inside it somehow... Yes, this happened when a helpful sibling handed this rattle to baby in the highchair. (Oy vay!) The instructions say to spot clean it, but I dunked it in soapy water and used our sink spray handle to thoroughly rinse out the rattle area and let it dry. It seems perfectly fine. We use a dry heat sterilizer for all of our baby toys (they have to be dry before we sterilize them) and it survives that exposure very well, too.
Baby loves it and it has survived my aggressive cleaning methods that "broke the rules" so to speak...so I am especially happy!! I do think the ball design isn't the best for cleaning though....

Very easy for my little one to grab. She very much enjoys chewing on it and shaking it. Awesome teething toy and overall rattle. I ended up buying 2 because my daughter loved it so much. We now have one at home and send one to daycare.
