Adorable but not as dark as expected

These curtains are adorable for my 2 year old's room, and I get tons of compliments on them. My only complaint is that they do not block out as much light as expected (I purchased the light grey color.) I expected the curtains themselves to keep out more light and the only light to twinkle through the start cut-outs. It looks like the darker colors of these curtains may do this better than the lighter color that I chose. Either way, I still think they are very pretty, and they were $30 cheaper than the curtains I was originally going to get at Target!

Love these! So cute, and functional. Accurate and matching lengths in each panel. The white/grey color has a tinnnge of blue to it ( especially with led bulbs lighting the room). And the white color doesn't tottttttaly black out light. But it cuts it a lottt. Plenty for my 8 month old to get to sleep at nap time!

These are absolutely amazing! They block out so much light and are made of a super soft material. The star cut outs look wonderful as well :) I ended up pairing these with the Deconovo Little Star Embroidery Gauze sheer curtain.

I love these curtains. As an adult who has them in her bedroom, I can say the star cutouts are awesome. Aside from being fun, these curtains let in just the right amount of light. Obviously, they're not blackout curtains, which is what I want for my bedroom. It allows the room to gently brighten as the sun rises.
When the sun is out at full strength, enough light gets through to bathe the room in a very soft and gentle glow of light. That means the entire room is in shadow, but not so dark you bump into things. It's definitely too dark to read a book though. The photo I posted shows the curtains in early morning light.
