Poorly sewn seams come apart easily
Jasmine Brinson✓ Verified Purchase•April 23, 2018
Quality of the stretch fabric is good for the most part, but the poorly sewn seams made it a nightmare to install without ripping every 30 seconds. The time it would take me measure my recliner, find the stretch fabric, cut it out and see myself didn't seem worth it or returning the cover since the hard work was done. I ended up reinforcing all of the seams with my server for it to be strong enough to withstand the installation process with minimal instructions. It took me 5 minutes to install without the 30 minutes of extra sewing. Once I finally got it on the chair it looked good and was what I wanted.
A few months into owning and using the cover I still like it, but am disappointed that it didn't come with plastic or cardboard tubes that most slipcovers come with to keep the seat portion from riding up after seating. So I've spent the past few months pushing the cover back into the seat every few days so it looks neat.
Overall for the pric, if you're willing to fix it regularly buy it, if not keep searching.

Looks nice but requires a bit of maintenance..

Well it works as they describe I suppose.. However, there are little to no directions and you might need to mess around for a bit figuring out how it goes on correctly. I'd definitely say it is easier to put on with two people, but you could always get by with one person. There is a lot of extra fabric that you're supposed to tuck into it (which is how they get one cover to fit 'most' chairs). Once it is finally on correctly, it looks pretty nice, although you do need to readjust it frequently to keep it that way. I do very much wish that it had a liner of some sort as any spill leaks right through onto the actual chair. That might be asking too much of a relatively cheap chair cover, but it would vastly improve it! All in all, I would recommend it.. just know it takes a little work to get it on and frequent maintenance to keep it looking 'tucked it'.
Good buy!

Very impressed!! :-) Bought these for my Mom and was hoping for good quality based on the reviews, but you never know. I thought the weight and quality was pretty good, especially for the price. I rely on reviews a lot so have included a pic. One note, I didn't bother fitting the cover perfectly because I was doing a test on my chair, but it did have the slot for the recliner lever and cover for the foot rest that lifts up, and the remote pocket seemed handy.
Perfect Slipcover for recliner

This is the second slipcover I've bought, and this one is by far the better choice. It stays in place and looks great all around. I love that it's one piece, as another brand I bought was multiple pieces and the seat cover kept slipping off. This one is excellent and was easy to put on. I have a regular sized recliner and it fits perfect.
Very good, except...

This cover fits well and was easy to install. I was pleasantly surprised at the overall good quality for such a low price. I have a leather LazyBoy and the cats' claws were marking it in a few places so I ordered this. The material is nice and stretchy and therefore conforms well to the chair shape. The only downside I have is that its "stretchiness" comes with a caveat; it's like the old polyester leisure suits that we wore in the 70's; anything (e.g. the same cat claws that prompted its purchase in the first place) that slightly picks into the surface will result in a giant fuzzy thread pull hanging out, looking ugly. After a week there are already three or four of those hanging out.
If we didn't have cats, it would be great but if we didn't have cats, I wouldn't have ordered it. I really like it overall, but in a few months I will look for something tougher. I expect this one is going to look pretty bad after about 6 months because of picks.
