I'm careful to keep this upright, it may leak a little but the cap screws on reasonably tight. I can tell the grooves will eventually strip out, but it is good enough for my needs.

This is much better than expected after reading some of the other reviews. It is much more attractive than the smooth copper versions IMO, as it doesn't show every fingerprint. I haven't needed to polish it or anything as the slight tarnish over the hammered finish gives it character. I keep this on my bedside table instead of my old copper cup. In addition to the Ayurvedic benefits, it keeps the cat from drinking and knocking over my water during the night!

Item arrived on time. Looked beautiful. The top does not seal properly because the grooves in the top of the canister are not deep enough. The top itself is made perfect with Rubber seal. After one time use with spring water the bottom looked very corroded. I placed a paper towel inside the canister and used a wooden handle spoon to rub it around and the paper towel came out black and brown. Just didn't seem to be the health factors I hope to receive.
