Purchased during a sale to just have out at the cottage for anyones use. We go through a lot of plastic utensils over the course of a summer at the lake and these held up well. They were priced right and proved just as durable as any I have found. Obviously you don't try cutting a steak with the side of a plastic fork or it will beak. Use a knife....or if no one is looking use your fingers but remember...these are just plastic. Nice package, will buy again

BEST PLASTIC UTENSILS HAVE EVER SEEN OR USED. VERY STURDY WITH A NICE COMFORTABLE SIZE. THESE COME IN A VERY REASONABLE ASSORTMENT WITH MORE FORKS THAN KNIVES AND SPOONS, WHICH WE NEED. ALSO COMES A NICE STURDY BOX THAT ONCE THE TOP IS CUT OFF, MAKES A NICE CONTAINER FOR THE UTENSILS THAT ARE IN THEIR OWN BAGS WHICH STACK SO NICE AND EVENLY IN THE BOX. WE JUST PUT IT ON A SHELF IN THE CABINET AND WE DO NOT EVEN NEED TO GET THE BAGS OR BOXES OUT, ONE UTENSIL IS AVAILABLE RIGHT OUT OT THE BAG IN THE BOX. WE CUT ABOUT AN INCH OR SO OFF THE BAG AND LINE IT UP IN THE BOX, SO ONE CAN JUST GET ONE AT A TIME WITHOUT SEARCHING THRU A MIX ASSORTMENT AS MOST COME THESE DAYS.

SPOONS HAVE A NICE SIZED BOWL AND FORKS ARE PRETTY MUCH NORMAL SIZE FORK WITH NICE REGULAR HANDLES AND NOT THE SHORT WITH ODD FORK TINES. AND THEY ARE BFA FREE AND AT A GOOD PRICE HERE ON AMAZON.

I run a household of constant visitors and I'd rather spend my time with them than doing dishes. These are perfect. They are strong, not flimsy like some of the fast food 'sporks', they can hold a hefty bite for food and you can spread cold cream cheese on delicate toast without breaking the knife or mutilating the toast. The spoons could be deeper for soup, and maybe they should offer a package that includes soup spoons, but we mostly use the spoons for coffee, tea, ice cream, etc. anyway. These pieces even stand up to being washed in a dishwasher if you want to save some of them.

If you don't want to or can't wash dishes when you're feeding others, these are the next best thing. We keep these for impromptu gatherings and parties and prefer the quality over almost any others we've tried. No rough or sharp "sprue" on the edges, uniform shape and strength. Reasonably useful for actually cutting something- even with the side of the fork- and full sized. Yes, they're more expensive than some, but you actually get what you pay for. The box is also convenient for storage and use on an informal buffet.

We are expecting a lot of visitors because of a recent death in the family, and we won't have time to do a lot of dishwashing. These plastic utensils will go far to solve our problem.
I chose this brand because it seemed to have just about the right number of each utensil. The quality proved to be excellent. And our hostess loved them!
(The memorial service actually took place back in June 2013, which was when I purchased this item and submitted the review. However, because of some software glitch, the review disappeared from the product page, and I got a request to re-submit the review now. So the death that I mentioned in the review wasn't that recent; rather, it took place back in June 2013, when I first submitted the review.)
