Turkey bacon makes me sad. Veggie bacon makes me puzzled. This chicken bacon though, despite being lower in fat AND having no nitrates, is FANTASTIC. No, it isn't EXACTLY like real bacon, but it is damned close. The flavor is almost identical to real bacon. The texture is different, but in a good way...most people don't like those chewy, greasy stripes of white fat anyway, right? This is really, really good.
