Nice plants, yielded no potatos
Robert✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 7, 2018
Avid gardener, but first attempt at potatos. Allowed to chit, planted in 4 locations from morning/afternoon sun only to afternoon, western sun only, 3 attempts in bag, one in ground. Got great surface plants at all locations but when sowed not a single potato produced. Possibly my fault, first attempt; but not sure what more I could have done to have them produce.

Update: upon contacting seller, was given refund for product; all I could have expected. Would do business with seller again.
BIG TIME YIELDS!!!

We grew these in grow bags that we purchased on Amazon.com also!! Thrilled with both purchases. Our first time growing potatoes, period. Wow!! Great yields & delicious. So easy to grow, we'll be back for sure and the grow bags are reusable... DO check them out.
Great steamed, sautéed, or mashed. We gave some of them to a pro Chef friend and he wanted more!!
While this may seem pricey initially, the dozens of really cool BLUE potatoes we grew were well worth the price. At least as tasty as the reds, the best mashed potatoes you'll ever have!!
Plant early, harvest at the first browning leaves. It is that easy.
Find a reputable garden center near you for your seed potatoes.

There were no purple "seed" potatoes in my batch, and they were not viable. They grew plants, but the plants never flowered, so after months of tending the plant, I had a yield of zero.
Let the experiment commence.

I just got the package, many potatoes of all sizes in a bag of dirt. Did't have directions but you really don't need directions. But It wouldn't hurt(FYI to the seller) It doesn't take a genius to figure out what to do. Some of the larger potatoes had "eyes" and could most likely be planted right away others had nothing and should or could be set aside or just planted. The Potatoes were to small to cut so planted them whole. However some of the larger potatoes with eyes did come in very soggy or even rotten. Hopefully they could still sprout something from them Over all I would say about 18 maybe even 20 pieces. Looking forward in seeing what ends up sprouting and growing. First time planting Potatoes and for Fall Harvest.

Potatoes were ready to plant and sprouted quickly. I've only been growing potatoes in my little backyard garden for about four years. These are the healthiest plants ever. They are not quite ready to harvest but I anticipate a bumper crop.
