Yay, I am so happy with this purchase, this is a soft top board, it's perfect for beginners, that's why I bought it so my son can start surfing on a surf board instead of a bodyboard ;) , this surf board it's beautiful has a nice weight to it, it's well made and well finished, it comes with the fins and leash, the leash is 6 feet and seems very resistant. I am impressed with the quality, my only doubt is that fish tail at the end, i am not a surfer and did not notice that before, my friend told me it's fine so I hope it's the same.
I chose a soft top because it's safer for beginners also it floats more and that makes easier to catch waves. I know because I live in Hawaii and this is the kind of board the surf school uses to teach surf students, minus the fish tail.
The bottom is very slick, and slippery great to slide down, my son and husbands were both in awe.
I am going to take it for a ride this weekend weather permitting Uhuuu. My son is really excited.Mommy and Daddy too!
