Too strong. It's impossible to tear these apart without damaging the hooks or ripping whatever they are stuck to apart. The adhesive is barely stronger than the hook parts. I guess this might be good for an item that is itself strong, that you only rarely need to remove, but if it's something you want to remove often, you are going to destroy the locking part or rip a chunk out of whatever they are stuck to because they bind together so strongly.

These strips are tough and trying to take one apart once it's snapped results in some damage to the strip itself, BUT even with the damage, it can be reused and still keep a tight grip.
