Very convenient! I have a 3yr old in a booster seat & an 8 month old in a bucket seat still, she is VERRY attached to me still & she does not like when she can't see me so usually I have to sit in the back with them, which is suuuuper uncomfortable & a tight squeeze, lol. But this mirror is HUGE, & we hang it right on the back of the seat, which is directly in front of my 8 month old & it's worked WONDERS for us! I can sit back up front again instead of squeezing between a booster seat & a bucket car seat, lol. It's MUCH better than the ones at Wal-Mart because this one is bigger & it's A LOT more durable! It's been kicked, hit with toys, sat on, dropped, etc & it's still in perfect condition.

New mom here: Babies are expensive enough, save money where you can (especially if you don't have to sacrifice quality). I researched and noted what brands the "pro moms" recommend. But a mirror is essentially just a mirror. This one does perfectly what I need it to do. It is HUGE and has a wide range of view thanks to the "bobblethingy" that allows it to get and maintain (even through tough turns) the perfect angle for your height and your car. The "glass" is crystal clear and I put it together and installed it in less than 5 minutes. Do NOT spend $24 dollars on the more expensive name brand car mirror or on the slighter cheaper ones you see. You don't need a light on a remote (turn on your interior car light if you need to see at night) or music....(your car has a radio) ...Buy this one and use the $14 you saved on a nice pajama set or gift for your little one. It's only $11 dollars, buy it and cross it off your need list.

I have horrible anxiety especially with baby in the car and not being able to see her while driving. I got a cheap mirror from my baby shower and it stressed me out even more because I'd turn my head and it would slide around and fall when I took a turn or made a stop. This mirror is SO AMAZING!! This mirror came in three pieces (mirror, swivel, base) but it was easy to put together even without the manual. The pieces just snap together. The whole thing is very light. The installation was easy and straightforward. The back headrests on the Model S do not come off and there's no hole but the straps were secure enough to hold. This is one of the few mirrors I found that don't have suction cups, which I'm not a fan of, so I still gave it a try. That said, since I like this mirror, I do still need to find a way to secure this better. In a collision, it will probably fly off the headrest, so that's not good. I have two rear-facing car seats so the mirror is in front of the older kid, who's able to reach it and move it. Today he accidentally kicked it off so I definitely need to secure it better. In a car with a hole in the headrest, that should be no problem. When I'm driving, the mirror shakes, which is annoying, but there probably isn't much to do about that. I've tried a different mirror before that doesn't swivel and is flush on the headrest which didn't shake as much. I think the nature of it being extended will cause the shaking anyway.
Updated to 4 star because while it's not ideal for the Tesla, it works well in the Nissan LEAF.
