A big mess as well as a lot of time and money wasted with spilled oil
Julianne Stamatyades✓ Verified Purchase•June 9, 2018
I made up a whole bunch of these to hand out as samples and divided them between several ziplock bags to store them. When I went to get some out of the first ziplock I found oil had leaked out of the bottles and all over the inside of the baggie as well as all over the other nonroller sample bottles I had in the ziplock too. And the leaked oil caused all of the labels on all of the bottles in the baggy to slide right off.
This happened in all three of the ziplocks I had filled with the roller bottle samples and in none of the bags I had with only the regular dram bottles. Very frustrating. I had filled about 150 bottles in total. A big mess as well as a lot of time and money wasted with spilled oil, lost labels, and the money I originally spent on these bottles.

Great quality, perfect for samples!

Very pleased with these. I have tried giving out samples in little vials but I find people don't seem to use them and love roller balls. I was going broke trying to fill the 10ml roller balls for samples - these are perfect!
Perfect for Sharing Essential Oil Samples
The Southern Review✓ Verified Purchase•March 1, 2018
These little roller bottles are fantastic for sharing essential oil samples. I like them so much better than the ones with dropper tops because it is almost impossible to actually get oil out of those. I tape these on to sample note cards with washi tape and keep them in my purse for spur-of-the-moment sharing, or for stuffing in goodie bags.
I appreciate the stainless steel ball too, since some oils degrade petrochemicals like plastics.

Disappointed

They are a great size, but the roller ball doesn't always roll or move and next to nothing comes out when it does. I wanted to use these for samples, but they dont really work well enough to do so. I'm very disappointed in these.
1ml Not Good For Gifting Or Mailing

I bought the 1ml size and was disappointed. The lids screw on nicely - until the roller ball is placed into the bottle. Then the lids sit cock-eyed on the bottle when you try to screw them on. I had hoped to give some to friends, but will end up using these myself at home. I've already used several to hold some oils and oil blends that I'd like to have available in multiple areas of the house (work desk, recliner, kitchen, etc). The rollerball portion works fine - so as long as they don't tip over, I'm good with using them for myself. (I've not had any leakage so far, but there is always that concern with any rollerball item.) Will give the 2ml size a try and hope that the lids actually screw down properly after the rollerballs are inserted.
Update Nov 4 2017:
I took 5 different bottles of these with me on a plane trip in the 2nd half of October. (I was gone less than a week, so there was no need to take the full-size bottles with me - and some were ones that I use the small rollerball size at home.) I intentionally put each rollerball into its own little plastic baggie - just in case. Even though I kept these in my carry-on luggage where we would remain in the pressurized areas, 4 of the 5 still leaked at least half of their contents. The one that didn't leak only had a little in it to start with.
So - the rollerball part itself works well. I have no problem using these at home. I **am** careful to not tip these over since I've never been sure whether they would leak or not. (And eo blends can make a huge mess, especially if not discovered right away.)
I am greatly disappointed that I can't mail these to friends and family members who don't live locally - would have been a nice way to share some oil blends in a size that they could try them out before I made up full-sized bottles of each blend.
And now I know that if I want to take these on any plane trips again, only fill half way at most - and be sure to seal each one in its own plastic baggie so that if it leaks, the others aren't slippery with the oil.
