.Great to hold your phone on your backpack strap so you can pull it out and snap quick photos. I cant keep my iphone 6s in my pocket because when I take it out in colder outdoor weather the temp difference between my hot pocket (from hiking up 4000 ft) and the outside 30 degree air causes the phone to freak out and shut down due to the temp difference. This eliminates that problem and saves my marriage as my wife no longer has to dig my phone out of my backpack every 20 minutes so I can take another photo.

I use this on a sling pack when hiking and love it. Keeps my phone out of my pocket and easily accessible if I need it. Only down side is that the Velcro seems to be losing its effectiveness after a few months.
