I bought this extra Dalmatian 3dog kit as an addition to the Penguin coaster I bought, since my grandson loves dogs. However, they are not the exact same size and get stuck going up the coaster steps. I kept them anyway because he likes sending them down the slide anyway.
One note, $8.00 for only 3 seems a little pricey though.

I feel compelled to review this toy. First of all, I think it's a great toy. My son loved it. And, it really is neat to watch the little penguins march up the ladder and then slide down. My son has been entertained by this for quite a while. But, I have to say that it was a struggle to assemble. In reality, it's not hard at all, but I found the directions so confusing and contradictory. I ended up just trying to assemble based on the picture on the outside of the box, but, note to self, the colors on the box do not correspond to the pieces in the box. I was very frustrated, so I ended up looking for assembly instructions on youtube. As soon as I realized that the colors on the box didn't necessarily correspond to the pieces in the box, everything started to make sense and assembly took five minutes. I'm writing this review to save someone from going through what I went through wondering why the pieces didn't seem to fit. I wouldn't say I'm super great at directions, but I've put together a fair number of children's toys, and this one was frustrating. But. like I said, once the toy was put together, it worked like a charm. I would've given 5 stars for this fun toy, but had to deduct one for confusing assembly instructions. If you're experiencing issues, head on over to Youtube for a two-minute demonstration on assembly.
