Durable and accurate and no fuss

My husband's went through the washer and dryer not once but twice. (Doesn't speak well for us, does it?) Kept working! (Counter, not husband.) I wear mine relentlessly and I am not a careful person (see first sentence). Lasted years. I give it as gifts to people who express an interest in step counters and who are not highly technical. Biggest drawback is the very small size of the letters/numbers as one sets it up and the fiddly nature of changing battery. Also, set-up is not highly intuitive and you need to pay close attention the first few times. Apart from that, I think it's a really strong product, and I almost never write product reviews.

UPDATE: Though my emails (3) were never answered by Realalt Support, I finally called them. The customer support listened, asked me to follow his directions to reset the tracker and finally agreed to replace it since it was under warranty. He was unsure why I never received an answer via email. The replacement did arrive so I wanted to me fair and update this review. He even called back to let me know his manger said she had answered my emails though I never received them and no emails were in my spam- that's the first thing I check when I have not received emails back. So unsure about that but Carlos did indeed work out the issue with me.
I ordered a new Realalt tracker after I damaged the oane I had. (My fault). I received my new one and it stopped working after one month. Date disappeared, could not set, etc. I wrote a email to Realalt support\customer service because it has an 18 month warranty but never had a response. 1) Steps, 2) Time, 3) No bluetooth, and 4) Lightweight and easy to carry
* The clip-on is also well made and convenient. I like to clip it on my pockets so that it doesn't sit inside my pocket and walking feels more unencumbered.
* Battery seems very long, and steps are exceptionally accureate
* setup was not bad and the manual was written well, but I would need to refer to the manual potentially if I wanted to change something like goal steps.

Setting up took a total of 3 days of trial and error, but now that it's done, I love it! It seems pretty accurate, be sure to get your stride input into the setup. I like that it's not connected to a device like a computer or phone, you can just clip it on your pocket and go. Gives you your steps, and distance covered. I find that motivating to keep moving towards your daily goal. I take the extra steps (more exercise, less sedentary) to see the numbers go up.
Another feature i like, is you can keep it IN your pocket, with only the clip showing outside the pocket if you don't want it to be conspicuous to others, and it still works. Other people can't read your results that way.

Easy setup if you follow the written instructions. I did not need to use the video. Clip works very well on my pocket. Easy to read and to scroll through info (steps, miles, calories, time, etc.). Seems very well made. Love that it tracks up to 30 days of stats. I had been using a well known smartwatch but developed skin rash/burn on my wrist no matter what I tried to do (alternated between wrists, sanitize, etc.). This pedometer is the next best thing for me. I'm enjoying it. Just fyi, I'm in my 70's so I can confirm this is great for seniors too!
