This is the third dog carrier I've purchased, each was different in style. This one is my favorite by far. It's quick and easy to use. The fabric is soft and washes well. The inside is a black/white cotton gingham. It has a collar attachment that would come in handy for those little pups who like to flee. I have a 10lb. Maltipoo who loves it. Where the carrier falls on your body is going to depend on your heighth, torso length, and circumference. I'm 5'2, average torso, and thin, the carrier rests at my hip. I would prefer it rested a little higher but can't fault the product for my size. I may eventually decide to cut a couple inches off the top of the sling and re-sew it to adjust where it hits my body, for now it hasn't been an issue. As I've said, I tried other types of carriers, both front packs. One in which the dogs legs and tail went thru holes. My dog ran away every time he saw me put it on. The other worked well for years but was difficult to put on, had no lining, and the flat bottom has a board in it that never lays flat. My shoulders were always sore after an outing. Nonetheless, he loved it. After trying three different types over the years I can honestly say this one is the easiest to use and the one my dog seems to like the most. It can be used on either shoulder.

Bought this for my chihuahua puppy. Picked her up at 6 weeks... put a small blankie inside, now at 5 months... she still loves it!!!
Sometimes she will be winey and just wants to sit in her pouch! Also nice and safe to wear while driving!

My 5.5 pound yorkie wants to be held all the time. He will scratch my feet to get me to pick him up, but there are some things you just can't do one handed. So, I tried this and I love it and he really loves being in it and with me as a run around getting things done.

I had returned a carrier of similar price that I bought at the local pet store because it was flimsy. This is sturdy, has a place to hook her leash (in case she would jump out, fits nicely over the shoulder. It is comfortable to carry the dog. II would buy it again.
