Just got a new fire pit and put some sand in the base to lessen heat which could Scorch the patio below the firepit... needed a small solid grate that wasnt too high for improved air flow and this fit perfectly no complaints... although the packaging had much to be desired and arrived with two legs sticking out of the cardboard box but no problems otherwise
