I have a medium sized head and I was swimming in this helmet. It's bulky and it's heavy. I returned it and bought something else. Seemed to be quality construction and definitely would protect you from an airsoft bb. If you have a big head, this could work for you. If you don't, it probably won't.

I have used this with my son when we go to the airsoft arena, it is definitely well built. I can tell when I get shot on the face but I cant feel anything. I don't have to deal with goggle fogging up or anything like that.

When I first purchased the helmet, I was very skeptical, but then after trying it on upon receiving it, and actually using it for a day of airsoft, honestly best helmet you can get for the budget. The helmets mainly made out of mesh, it's very comfortable, very light, I can actually breathe. You are doing yourself a favor with purchasing this helmet.
