The quality of the gloves are very well made. Very comfortable and quality leather. The downside is that these gloves are better for those who have longer fingers or those who ride a motorcycle. For regular driving the edge of the glove cuts into your fingers if they aren't long enough or just from gripping the steering wheel.

I purchased these looking for padding for my palms. I apparently have been gripping steering wheel to tightly and bruising my palms. The gloves helped, but the better solution was to purchase a steering wheel cover. With both options in place, my hands feel much better.
The gloves alone gripped the wheel and I never felt the need to take them off to cool my hands. Actually came in handy after sun on the steering wheel would have made for fingertip driving.

Leather is soft. Gloves have a snug fit with give. Seem well made. Only minor flaw is that the snaps work really hard. I am hopeful that with use they will work more easily but right now am a bit concerned about possibly ripping the snap from the leather.

These are extremely well made gloves, high quality material and since they are unlined, they fit like a glove. My motorcycle grips are chrome and when it gets hot and my palms sweat, they can get a little slippery. These gloves grip the smooth chrome perfectly and are vented to keep my hands cool in hot weather but offer enough protection in windy or chilly weather. They are exactly what I needed.

I took a new job which was -- a long, LONG drive from my house. After a few weeks "“ I soon noticed that I was beginning to develop "“ some new and very UNSIGHTLY calluses on my hands. My steering wheel -- even though it's leather-wrapped (on my still new-looking 2010 Mazda3) -- is obviously a lot harder and SLICKER than I had thought "“ requiring me to grip my tiller much TIGHTER "“ than I had previously realized.

Since I wasn't going to CHANGE jobs any time soon "“ I decided to buy some DRIVING GLOVES instead. After a little shopping, I settled upon a pair of these RIPARO Motorsports Fingerless models. When they arrived "“ I couldn't be happier.

I had paid special attention to the SIZING GUIDE "“ and ended up buying a pair one size SMALLER than I would have otherwise. The fit is snug and PERFECT.

Gripping the wheel is very POSITIVE "“ with no slippage. And with my exposed fingertips "“ I can still easily MANIPULATE all of the controls -- like twisting-on my headlights and my car's stereo "“ while also easily pressing all of my dash panel's buttons, like changing radio stations and directing my car's GPS, as well. Sweet.

The fingerless feature "“ also leaves my MIDDLE digit nicely exposed "“ in case I have to, in extreme circumstances -- "give the bird" to another obnoxious driver, no matter who he (or she) might be. Just kidding.

These RIPARO Motorsports also keep my hands slightly warmer (on cold mornings) "“ and slightly dryer (on warm days when my hands might perspire just a tad). And, best of all -- my CALLUSSES "“ were soon a thing of the past. Hooray.

I liked these RIPARO's so much "“ that I bought a SECOND pair (for keeping in my husband's car, in case we switch). My initial set was a conservative and classically colored BROWN. My second pair is a more expressive and stylish COGNAC (a brightly tanned leather) "“ which I like much better "“ especially since it more closely matches my tanned skin. Get out.

When I drive, I now imagine myself "“ as the "gloved one," Michael Jackson "“ or as Lady Gaga (who often times wears fingerless hand coverings when she performs). Sick, huh?

These RIPARO fingerless gloves, unfortunately "“ haven't LESSENED the length of my commute to work.

But they have made it "“ much more relaxed and ENJOYABLE (and less disfiguring). Highly recommended.

P.S. I also wear arm sleeves "“ on really sunny days "“ to keep the TAN on my arm and hand a more EVEN tone.
