These locks are fantastic! Extremely easy to install without damaging my cabinetry, no tools required quick and simple. I read the provided instructions, then looked on YouTube for five minutes to see other users experiences and how to videos just to assure myself that I could do it. I installed them myself with my toddler climbing the walls trying to torment the family pets and draw on the cream leather couch with permanent markers. It was the easiest and most productive thing I had done all day.

We previously had the external pinch and slide Saftey First "locks" on our cabinets. We were so very frustrated with those as they were difficult to open and close, they scratched our newly installed cabinets (see first photo ☹ï¸) and our toddler simply had to wiggle them around and they fell off which didn't serve the safety purpose.

These Ecobaby magnetic locks are so sime to use, and effective! Our daughter may not look it but she is as strong as a gorilla, she even try's to HANG from the cabinets to open them she cannot get these open!

Our biggest concern when purchasing these, was that she would be able to figure out how to open them by imitating our movements. Although we do keep the magnet lock out of reach from her, if she were to get a hold of it she won't be able to figure out the method of lining up the magnet and pulling the cabinet at the right time. We feel this is because the locks work so well and quickly that it doesn't allow her the same observation time as the other locks we have used. This gives us for the confidence that these locks will serve their purpose for many years to come, so long as we continue to keep the magnet out of reach and not allow her to have time to practice the mechanisms of opening the cabinets with these locks installed.

I will be adding these as a must give gift for all baby showers in the future!

I purchased this product on a whim really as part of a multi-item order. It was something I had always wanted to get around to since I have a little kid, but hadn't quite gotten to yet. I received the product and it arrived as it looks in the image with all of the parts there and functional. There are instructions provided, but anyone with just a little bit of common sense can install these on their own (still recommend reading the instructions first).

The Eco-Baby Magnetic locks are very simple to install, and as I am not the most handy person, this is great. They use 3M Tape/Stickem as a bonding agent, so there is no drilling required. Once in place, they are for the most part, stuck there though. Be sure to be precise in your placement. I say mostly stuck in place because they can be removed with a little bit of effort. However, this will ruin the integrity of the product and don't recommend it if it can be helped.

Once in place, they really work. It frustrated my kid to no end who was used to opening the doors. So they do hold well, and work as described. One use of the magnet over the locking mechanism, and the door pops open with ease. There is also a feature located on the locking mechanism itself that will turn off the lock so that you don't even need the magnet to open the doors (which in my opinion, is a great feature to have).

All in all a great product and would highly recommend them. The price is exactly what I would expect to pay for them, the items are of high quality. I would totally buy these again if I had a need, and will recommend them to friends with babies.

Super easy install, comes with double sided tape and so far still going strong. I've had these installed for about a month now on my lower kitchen cabinets and my 9monthold spends probably an hour a day hanging on the cabinet doors rocking back and forth after using the handles to help him stand up.

My only disappointment is inthe quality of the round magnet keys. They are super cheap and don't hold together well. Evena drop of a couple inches sends them flying apart into 3 pieces. They're just wedged together without any kind of snap to hold the plastic pieces around the magnet. Super glue should fix this but as it is, if one gets bumped off the refrigerator unnoticed, the small round magnet inside is a dangerous choking hazard.

I ordered these because we have ordered other baby locks in the past that have not been all that effective or are cosmetically unappealing. These were very easy to install, you just have to make sure you line up the 2 pieces correctly or of course it will not latch/unlatch correctly. I love that it's magnetic and there really isn't a way for our toddler to learn to "unhook" anything because it's all inside the cupboard or drawer. We place are magnet unlocking key on our microwave, stove or refidgerator as they are all stainless steel.. so convenient. I was skeptical when they claimed that they are strong enough to withstand a toddlers pulling but they have worked so far and she is unable to get the cupboards or drawers open. In the past with other products she either broke the latches or unhooked the clips. I highly recommend looking into these magnetic cabinet locks, they are amazing!

I love these locks! I've had the same "old fashioned" locks on my cabinets for the last 7 years and many of them are slipping and are no longer effective. These locks are a quick and easy replacement. I'll admit the first set I installed required a few adjustments but once I figured out the placement, the rest were super easy.

Pros:
*Goes on without any tools. Just take the backing off the adhesive and stick! I recommend sticking it very lightly at first to ensure you have the correct positioning.
*Locks have 2 positions: One allows you to keep the cupboards locked (use the magnetic key to open) and the other position allows you to open your doors freely. This comes in handy if your kids will not be around for a little while.
*The doors don't open at all when locked. Now my little one won't pinch his fingers as he does with the older style locks (which allow the door to open a few inches).
*Comes with 2 magnetic keys in case one gets lost

Cons:
*I'm a sucker for clear directions, and these directions were very poorly written. However, it only took me about 5 minutes of trial and error to install the first lock.
*Lock opens best with the magnetic key. I envision both keys getting lost at some point which makes opening the cupboards a little more challenging. I experimented a little and was able to open the door with a strong magnet. Normal thin refrigerator magnets did not work.
