Not as easy to use as led to think. When I have more time maybe it will do what I need but right now all I need was a simple kitchen design and anded up going with the graph paper and pencil

About 10 years ago I used a Punch landscape and architecture program and found it difficult to work with. However, we are renovating out old farm house and I was willing to give them another chance. So... I recently bought Interior Design 19. I guess I did not learn my lesson. This program is really poorly written. I am running it on a i-7 IMAC with 16 G RAM and a 2 G video card. It runs like a dinosaur. Moving objects and maneuvering in 3 D mode is slow and painful. When you try to select an item to edit, you waste about a minute trying to get it to select what you want. Then it wont allow you to move the object easily. Walkthroughs are difficult and there is no option to make walls impenetrable. Punch has been creating this software for over a decade and it seems as if the computer code they used in 2006 is the same as they are using currently. I know it was only $60 bucks, but come on. If it was well written, they would make their profit in volume. No profit to be found here.
