Who knew this gate would be such a life changer? Seriously, very, very happy with this -- we use it every day with great success. Our smaller dogs (one is 30 pounds and the other is 10 pounds) respect the boundary and don't try to jump on it or move it. We opted for the taller (36" version) just in case the pups decided to try out for the Olympics High Jump -- We have not seen any ambition in this area so far -- *phew*.

This gate is solid/hefty and very nice looking. Highly recommend -- Just make sure you measure your opening to make sure you buy the right size.

Let me start with this...I searched and searched for a room divider that would work for cats. Let me tell you it is near impossible to figure out if there is a gate that will work for cats. I looked at just about every gate, fence and room divider that is available and I just couldn't tell if they would work for cats or not...that is until a reviewer for this product stated that it worked for their cat(s) so I decided to give it a try. I have two cats and the resident cat has not gotten used to our rescue cat and will attack her if they are in the room together (and yes I have tried all of the techniques to try to get kitties used to each other...but they ALL failed). So in order to give the cats each their own space in the house we decided to divide the house. This gate is AMAZING! Our resident cat has never tried to jump over it and she is a very agile cat...nor can she knock it over as it is fairly heavy. It is made out of quality wood and is really stylish. The slats are the perfect width apart so that she cannot get her head through it...with our metal door gates she will attempt this, but not with this gate. We did have to get two gates as we had a large area to cover and they work perfectly.
We use the last panel as the door and it swings open with ease. We have the gates staggered in an accordion shape and it is very sturdy. The rescue cat can now explore her part of the house without worries of being attacked...and it gives the resident cat the comfort of her own territory as well. So to all you cat people...if your looking for a gate that just might work...give this one a try. We have had this gate for 4 and a half months. The hinges came apart from the cheap anchors and screws about a month into it. We put a few screws in to stabilize. It worked up until tonight. My 2 year old son slid the gate to pass threw and a section of the gate fell on him, followed up by the other section falling in him, them the other half. Needless to say, don't waste money on this gate. It does its job and looks nice, but the screws and anchors do not even look like they could hang a small picture frame. I'll attach a picture of what the screw looked like I found on the ground, totally bent and pulled right out of the little white anchor. I'll put a penny next to it to show how small it is.

A little expensive for a "dog gate", however it is a very sturdy, well constructed piece. Probably a bit tall for our small 15 lb dog, but he is Houdini & a jumper. Hopefully this will keep him confined to our sunroom during the day while we are at work.

I got the 24" 3 panel gate. This gate is nicely built and it was packed very well. I think the price is affordable. I also like the color I chose. The best part is Im 5'2 and can step over it without moving it. Gotta love that. ðŸ'‚
