These are a staple for my shoes as I have a rather high arch and 98% of shoes manufactured today do not offer much support. These are so easy to slip into shoes to offer some arch support. Can be moved from shoe to shoe, but buying in multiples makes it easier to get out the door.

I see several complaints about the adhesive. Well, what would happen if it had to be moved? The adhesive serves as a temporary place holder for the supports until the exact placement is determined. After that you can use E6000 glue or T-Rex Double Sided Super Glue Tape, or Aleene's Fabric Adhesive. Which one depends on the liner material in the footwear.
They are small and fairly thin, so if you have high arches, they will not work unless doubled or tripled up.
I also needed soft shoe liners, so I placed the supports underneath those with E6000 and they don't move, and are more comfortable.

I'm flat footed and tend to be on my feet a lot. I typically wear athletic shoes with Spenco/Walk-fits in them to get me through long days at school/work and Birkenstocks for casual walking about or around the house (though if I could, I'd wear birks everywhere at all times cause amazing support). Unfortunately, there are times when I need to wear dressier shoes that can't accommodate a full insert and doesn't have built in support. For those shoes, I've started using these! They work pretty well in instance where you don't necessarily need MAXIMUM support (e.g., if you don't plan on being on your feet for hours and hours at a time) such as going out to dinner w/ friends, a small event, church, a little bar crawl, etc. If you go into buying these w/ this expectation, you won't be disappointed! They are significantly better than having nothing and comfortable.
