Okay controller, phone holder is defective
Matthew HoppeJune 12, 2018
The controller itself is decent. the buttons are a little sticky and the shoulder buttons (L1 or R1 for my PS friends) have a "sweet spot" that you have to press in order for it to register. It has quite a few different modes which is cool, however, the phone holder (The little plastic piece that holds your phone) felt slightly flimsy upon opening. I haven't had it 2 weeks and that piece is already busted. If your only looking for the controller...Go for it. If you want the whole bundle, look elsewhere. I use it on the train and on the go...I NEED the phone holder part....Unfortunately, I can't find a replacement anywhere, so now I have to purchase a whole new controller kit and it hasn't even been a month...Won't be getting this one, I can tell you that!
Does NOT work on iDevices
fargoadviceMarch 29, 2018
I would honestly give this 0 stars simply because it does not work.

We tried contacting the seller but received no reply beyond a C/P of the manual.

Our use: iPhone 8 and 8 Plus game controller

We hold Y and Home until all 4 lights are flashing, the "Newgamepad N1" shows as an avaialble bluetooth device. When tapping on it, it's simply a 'Pairing Unsuccessful' message. We've tried all modes, and nothing.

I would love to figure this out, was told it was 'that version of iOS' - which we knew had issues with bluetooth game controllers - that has since been resolved on Apple's part and nope, this controller is still nada.

It's unfortunate that it doesn't work, but I thought for those people looking for a controller for things like PUBG, steer clear of this one, please.

The build quality is spot on what one would expect for a $16 controller, so don't listen to the 'cheap' comments - yes, you paid a 'cheap' price for a 'cheap' controller - quality comes with price my friends!

I hope this helps!!!!
Has worked good for me

Has worked good for me. I've connected it to android boxes. Amazon fire box. Samsung phones. Only issue is sometimes it takes a few tries to actually get it connected the first time. After that no issues. The r2 button isn't as springy as the rest but still works every time.
with my only complaint being how close the start and select buttons are(wide thumbs suck..

After years of only using Moga controllers for my emulating needs I decided to try another brand after my last one finally bit the dust, I had my reservations about this one but was pleasantly surprised.

Out of the box this controller is very light, and I found the clip that holds your phone is detachable, which I thought was interesting. It also comes with its own charging cable which is mini USB instead of the usual micro USB, which had me scratching my head a little.

Connecting and using the controller for the first time was a bit of a chore, as the T3 has multiple connection modes depending on the device you're using it with , and deciphering which one you want from the poorly written "engrish" section can be a bit confusing, (instead of Android mode it's labeled as "handle" mode)

Using the controller I found most of my emulators automatically picked it up and mapped it, which is a plus, and the inputs are both smooth, almost too smooth to the point you wonder if you pressed anything, and very responsive, with my only complaint being how close the start and select buttons are(wide thumbs suck...) I can't vouch for the battery life but it has held up to a solid 2 hour play time so far with me.

All in all this controller is an excellent alternative to Moga and I can wholeheartedly recommend the T3 for your emulation needs, as long as you can make it past the poorly written instructions.
Good luck finding a game that works
