I bought this billfold to replace an older one. It is well made and has a nice color. First, the inside. It will hold your license behind a clear panel. I also have my insurance cards (3) in one slot with a credit card in the slot behind it. On the outside, I have my work ID that gives me access to my building using a prox card. On the other side, I have a debit card and the credit card I use all the time. It has a tab to pull that raises these cards up for easy access. When you push the cards back down, the tab returns to it's original place. This is where it loses a star. You have to push them down past the edge of the billfold to keep them from sticking up and to keep the tab below the edge. My old one, which is almost identical, had an elastic ribbon on the tab, so it always returned to it's original position. Oh, It also has a clip that goes on the inside that holds that paper stuff you trade for items at a store, What is it called...oh yeah, money. I took it out, because I usually have cash around once a year. Why keep it, if I don't use it?

I've had this wallet for over a year now, and although I really love it, it unfortunately can't hold cards without falling if the slots are expanded. When I started with the wallet, i only used a certain amount t of cards in order to keep the tight hold on the wallet. Yet, 6 months later, give or take, the slots started to los grip or tightness due to inserting more cards in the slots. Not the wallets problem, it is to be expected since the material can lose its original grip if the person inserts more than one card in each slot. But the moment I put a second card in my wallet and trying to prevent my wallet to expand, i decided I had to get a wallet that will maintain the same grip regardless of how many cards I insert in it.
With that being said, do take I to account I am a very particular person about what I want and need, i am very picky. I do love this wallet, i mostly love the lever it has to stick out your cards (favorite part of the wallet). I never had a problem with the money clip, and loved the ID section having the plastic protector on as well since not all wallets do. Do get this wallet, i do highly recommend it, just be aware that the slots do expand of more cards are inserted AND it will lose grip meaning cards will be loose. (It scares me that my cards end up falling out).

I've had it for over a week and I'm enjoying it. I've carried a front pocket wallet for years now and I like carrying less items in the wallet. Including my ID and credit cards, I have at least 6+ cards in there without a problem. It gets tighter the more you put in, but it can do it. That little pull out tab is a cool idea and I've only store less used cards in there (med/AAA etc). I'd buy another one.

I was looking for a new wallet to replace the front pocket one I was using that was considerably cheaper (less than $10) and wasn't designed to hold cash. I had a separate money clip, but I was getting tired of carrying two separate things. But I didn't want a traditional bill fold or tri-fold wallet because those are too thick.

This wallet is a good compromise. It is similar to a bill fold but because the cash doesn't go in a pocket, you eliminate some layers and make it thinner. And by reducing the number of individual pockets for cards, again there are less layers and less thickness. The pull tab is a bit different to what I'm used to, but it works. I am curious to see how long this pull tab will last. Time will tell. The included money clip seems to be made of a chrome plated likely cast metal. Like the pull tab, time will tell how long this lasts. And it is removable in case you have a lot of cash that won't fit comfortably in the wallet or have other reasons to want to keep it separate from your wallet at times.

I like that the ID card window is on the inside. I don't want my ID being visible every time I pull out my wallet.

The wallet seems to be made of real leather (what animal I do not know) and seems reasonably well assembled. Stitching is straight and consistent with no loose threads. The color is consistent.

Overall, I have no reason not to give this five stars at this time.

The wallet is sturdy and sleek black carbon looks good. The money clip is the only thing that sets this wallet back. It is removable however if you carry money in it the bills just float around when you open like your flaunting your cash. Other than that the compartments for cards is nice especially the one with the pull out tab.
