These knives come all the way from Australia and they are worth the wait! The "laser edge" is not the same as normal serration. Unlike serrated steak knives, these 1. are brutally sharp and they stay that way 2. they do fine in the dishwasher 3. while they will not win any design awards, their appearance is inoffensive 4. they are perfect for cutting meat, tomatoes, vegetables, bread, everything.
These Wiltshire knives are terrible for scooping and spreading, but that's not what they are for. I bought two sets and I'm glad I did.
