Nice set of food coloring that gives you more colors to choose from than a standard set you'd get in the market. I had a recipe for a Halloween version of deviled eggs, and needed black, red, and green. I plan to use it for other things though so that's why I ended up buying this. But the colors in my eggs came out perfect and exactly what they were supposed to be.

It would get 5 stars, but one of the colors exploded and now there's blue dye everywhere. Even after I think I've washed it all, I get a new blue stain on my hand when I pick up one of the other colors.
Other than that, the dye works really well, I like that it doesn't mess with the consistency of your creation. I use it in batter and frosting and I'm pleased that it doesn't change the consistency of my frosting the way non-gel dyes do.

Hello...so I had this product in my save for later and finally bought it but I started seeing bad reviews and good.....so I ordered it and it was true...I had 2 color that where open and leaking....and the red...I had a hard time getting the icing red for my son s cake a paw patrol cake it looked almost dark pink....so I dumped in all the bottle...but then it tasted bad......but does great on fondant...just not dark icing colors......and packing needs to improveðŸ˜

So far I've used this for buttercream icing only. I'll update once I remake my fondant with it. I first made fondant using the Wilton colors, which are complete crap. These colors are easy to mix thanks to the cap, no toothpicks needed. I found that I needed to use much less color to get the same result and the results were rather spot on. I'll probably end up purchasing the metallic and neon because these are really good colors and not overly priced.

I have only ever used the cheap food colors from the grocery store, so this is definitely many steps up. I was watching lots of YouTube videos on how to decorate Christmas cookies, and came upon some suggestions to use this brand of gel colorings. I looked here on Amazon, expecting them to be expensive, and I was pleasantly surprised. I instantly ordered them, and received them in a couple days...thank you Prime. I made my cookies yesterday, and WOW...I can't believe I've missed out all this time. I used several of the colors, and only used 1-2 drops of each in about a cup or so of icing. I can't believe how concentrated these are! And the colors are so bright and vivid! I know these will last me a very long time, but if I ever run out, this is the product I will be purchasing from now on. My husband was also impressed by the quality, and also that these didn't leave that unpalatable aftertaste that some colors do. You won't be disappointed if you purchase these!
