I loved the look of this watch. It was exactly what I was looking for; a watch with a second hand, and a simple step counter. The first watch I received connected to my phone once and then never again. The replacement I received never got that far. The tapping of the watch face to activate pairing mode did not work at all on the second one. If I tapped long enough in a million different ways with the first watch, the blue light would blink like it was in pairing mode but would not connect. This was a beautiful watch, but I don't spend big bucks on pretty watches. I'm very sad :(

I read all of the complaints about this watch prior to purchasing it. Since there were some good reviews of it, I was hopeful that I would be one of those lucky ones as this was one of the o my analog smart watches with a secondhand I could find. Unfortunately, I was not one those lucky few. The app constantly said that the watch was disconnected, and I could never get it to reconnect.

The look of the watch is beautiful for the price and the minimalist look i like. I know its a womans watch but i liked the silver body/black strap combo, which is unisex in my opinion. I bought it to give me vibration alerts for bitcoin/crypto price that i set in the coinalarm and bitcoin checker apps so that i can get them without having my phone go off during the day with audible alarms and especially at night so i dont wake my wife.

I bought both the Maritian Notifier and mVip with the hopes the mVip would be the one, although i like the scrolling price notification on the notifier i like the slimmer design of the mVip. unfortunately i couldnt get it to work. i tried to unpair/re-pair the watch to the phone. tried reseting the watch through the app as well as uninstall/reinstall of the app. all that ended up happening is that i would get random vibrations and led color combos at random times so even though i unchecked EVERYTHING but the bitcoin checker and coinalarm app (also each of those separately) i would still get random vibrations seconds/minutes before and after notifications of price change showed up on my phone so i have no idea if there is a lag or not. If there was a 60 second lag, that would be fine, but it was random in time and led/vib combo so i cant use it. returning. the idea is neat, and maybe it works great for emails/texts as it seems to be intended for but these specific app combos i use it doesnt work so i will be returning it.

I am keeping the Martian Notifier watch as it works PERFECTLY for my needs.

I'm enjoying this hybrid watch. It keeps me from looking at my phone for messages. The color light on the watch notifies me when someone calls or texts. Finding the instructions for the watch has been challenging. I feel that it's capable of much more. But the instructions on line are confusing. First the box doesn't tell you what style it is. Second, when you put in the manufacturer model codes. It can't identify it. Martian leaves you hanging.

I'm really glad I decided to buy and try this watch! All the others are so big bulky and really don't fit my style .
I was searching for a smartwatch that looked like a real women's watch, in a real women's size. Not crazy about wearing a fitness tracker and a watch so I like having a 'watch" that tracks my steps..
The alerts light on the side of the case is so smart! I set up my family and friends for three of the colors, my boss is Red :), and I'm using yellow for schedule reminders ( I'm in a lot of meetings and travel a lot so using a color to notify me has been great in the short time I've had it).
Not being a technology type I was glad that the app helped me through the firmware and pairing process without a problem. .
