The only thing I can say negative about this mount is it doesn't come in black. If you mount this securely to the wall (I added 4 extra bolts) I think you could almost hang from it, it's that heavy duty. Mounted my new Epson 6040UB projector and it is rock solid, I also painted it black as another reviewer did, if you do this you need to be careful when adjusting because it is easy to scrape the paint but were I did mess up the paint a little it was hidden when I moved the arm back in, I slid it out to connect the cables. All the adjustments work well and make it easy to get the projector level, square and tilt correct. I just can't imagine a better mount for less money or more for that matter, like I said before the only thing that would have made this mount perfect is if it came in black because as you can see from the picture my projector is black, would have looked funny with a white mount.

This was perfect for what I was looking for. I have an Epson Home Cinema 3800. The mounting adaptor to the projector is very adjustable and has a wide range to fit many different projectors. I mounted the arm plate itself directly to two studs, the centers of which are 11inches apart and there are many other possible mounting points. This mount is so sturdy I can literally do a pull up on it. I'm very impressed and extremely pleased and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a wall mount for their projector. I did mount my projector "upside down" to the instructions for my specific needs but this seems to have absolutely zero take away from stability.

I used this to mount an Epson LS11000 (not a short, or ultra short-throw projector). I'm confident this mount could be used for any projector UST or not. The fine adjustment knobs are a fantastic idea, well executed, and make getting the projector lined up a joy instead of an exercise in frustration.

The mount is very well built with many options for mounting, and when mounted properly it is very sturdy - I feel like I could do pull-ups on it.

This is a solid mount with 3 degrees of freedom rotational adjustability (yaw, pitch, roll) and some translational (distance), which is critically important for ultra short throw (UST) projectors. I used it to mount my Optoma ZH400ust to the wall below my screen. For those of you who are interested in UST projectors, it is important to think about how you want to mount the projector. A table is not ideal since the slightest bump will mess up the projection to your screen and make the image look trashy. I have an iRobot at home so I need to keep the projector off the floor. It is also very important to think about the adjustability of the mount. Some cheaper mounting brackets offer very little adjustability.

This mount is heavy and solid. The design is simple, and I am comfortable front-mounting a 10-15 lbs projector on it (my Optoma weighs about 12 lbs). With an extension of about 20 inches from the wall, the projected image is 100" in diagonal. In my opinion, the key to mounting a projector is to get everything aligned as perfectly as possible, because start using the projector's adjustments (keystone, digital zoom, image shift...etc.). Optoma sells a mount (model OWM3000) that basically the same and is twice the price as of this writing.

Now the drawback:
The mount comes with many different screws and mounting options including the adjustable plate, however for some reason non of them fit the mounting holes on my projector perfectly. For example, I can use only 2 screws to attach the plate to my projector, if I were to top mount (with the projector upside down), then it will not provide security and I would have returned the product. So check your projector and the mounting plate size in the product images before you buy!

I bought this with high hopes thinking that I could use it to ceiling mount my Samsung Premiere UST projector. Although, the description claims that it's a Universal ultra short throw projector mount, I couldn't attach my projector to it because I couldn't line up the mounting holes on the arms of the mount with the ones on the projector however much I tried. So, I ended up returning it. However, I must admit it looks very sturdy, heavy and quite impressive. It has the fine controls on it to adjust the picture which would have been very helpful in aligning the picture with the screen. It's a pity that I couldn't get it to work with my projector.
