Plunger has silicon lubricant applied from the factory (a contaminant!)

Started using these and almost immediately had contamination issues in the product I was using (luckily not a medical or food application). Removing the plunger on a new syringe, I noticed what appears to be silicon lubricant applied to the black plunger. What!
This makes the syringe pretty much useless for any application where silicon contamination will cause issues.

Use these to move perfume about if bigger dropper bottles into spray bottles to have a fuller, richer experience with the fragrance than out of a dropper bottle. They clean very easily and I reuse them all the time.

Quality product - I use it for drawing a thick nutritional supplement for my pet birds out of a tall bottle and distributing it onto their food. Though it's a bit of a challenge to get it through the tip, it does work. And, more importantly, I don't have to make a mess trying to get the supplement out by pouring it.
Bought two packs - I expect to get a lot of mileage out of them.
