Decent for a sensory lamp.

Bought this to use as a sensory lamp for a child who really enjoys the sight of water reflections on the ceiling. It is good in that is what it claims to be- but, I wouldn't say it's something special. Has various colors for lights and the projection DOES look like water... However, the motor inside rotates such that it isn't a smooth projection that looks like the surface of water being reflected- there is a slight jerking as it reaches a certain point each time. Furthermore, the plastic is hard and durable but the lamp seems to be very "cheap" in that sense. Haven't tried the remote control or the sound feature, I simply bought it for the lamp. Overall an okay purchase.
This light would be perfect if the music was built in.

There was no remote. Perhaps that was a misprint? It's basically turn on and if you push the button up to 5 times the colors change. It is hard to position because of the way the light hits the ceiling and the cord is not that long.

Clicking Noise Isn't Relaxing

I bought this for myself as a soothing nightlight for easing anxiety. Unfortunately, the motor that turns the light makes such a loud clicking noise, it's really not relaxing. It would be okay if you're also going to use the white noise feature, but if the room is silent, the clicking really stands out.
