I made your recipe for the Bolognese Today with meat and onions. I had to add a little Marsala ....only because I like it in my sauce....it was so fresh tasting and I live next door to my Mama and Papa (I do all the cooking for both families as they are elderly and that's just what we do as a family- labor of love) everyone loved it! I grated a little bit of fresh parmesan cheese on top and it really didn't need it at all. Also added fresh basil and oregano from my herb garden. It was just so lovely and smooth...no acidity that was noticeable which was perfect as sometimes that bothers my Papa....but not tonight....I can't imagine what you could do to improve upon it....indeed, it lived up to your description of it. I am anxious to try the ancient grain pastas. I have also order the balsamic vinegar and olive oil and am looking forward to its arrival. Is the lemon and orange marmalade very tart? Thank you for everything...the packaging was super and it made it to Hawaii with no problems at all! Christmas came early in your box of sauces.

This is the best tomato sauce period. I liked it so much I drank it straight from the bottle. It was wonderful at room temperature and I bet even better warmed up a bit. Of course I bought it for recipes, but I bought several bottles so I can just enjoy a tomato cocktail.

Great tomato sauce, fresh and natural tomato taste. No sugar added, but not acidic. I guess, just naturally ripe tomatoes"”not refrigerated-chamber-"ripened" tomatoes with added sugar (and worse), as many other brands do. Simple ingredients: tomatoes, basil, extra virgin olive oil, and salt"”and that is what it tastes like. Outstanding customer service too: they went out of their way to resolve a problem.

I just tried this sauce and it is very good. It does not have heavy spicing like most sauces and is fresh. The tomato is a slightly sweet cherry tomato. Expiration is clearly labeled and I like the convenience of the smaller bottles. Only use what you need. The rest stays fresh!
