We bought several rolls of these bamboo fences. We have an elevated deck with railing. The spaces between the vertical bars seemed a bit too wide, fearing that our beagle would want to stick his head through. We also wanted a decorative way to limited his view or sight, as he just loves to bark at any movement in his sight.
These bamboo fence pieces/rolls fit fine. (They could be maybe a quarter inch shorter for our specific situation, but the product received matches the description!) We attached them with zip ties. Besides limiting our beagle's view, they also make a great privacy fence!

Used the bamboo to cover an iron gate for added privacy. Durable, strong, and flexible! Was able to cut it into sections with a wire cutter. Looks beautiful and conceals the iron gate effortlessly adding a tropical get away feel!!!

I missed the return date on this due to illness. I'm stuck with VERY EXPENSIVE (I ordered 2) product. I used as directed and it's MOLDED!! It was also full of SPIDERS when I opened it. YIKES! Amazon is GREAT on returns but I do wished they gave more time to return large items such as this.

This fencing has a great look and played a big role in creating a unique patio space at our house. It was relatively easy to install - we built a frame to hold the top and bottom of the fence in place and supported it with 4x4 posts every 8 feet. We made a 1.5" trough top and bottom for the bamboo to sit in. Some of the 1" bamboo is up to 1.5" - which we think looks cool and adds texture, btw, so this was a plus. This approach seemed easier and nicer than screwing individual pieces of bamboo to a frame. Bonus of framing the bamboo: it looks good from both sides. Unfortunately, since day 1 of the install we've been hearing very loud popping and cracking sounds (even from inside the house). Upon inspection, the bamboo has split in many areas, leaving wide cracks where water can get inside the individual pieces of bamboo. Visually this is okay, but we are concerned about the longevity of the product given that it immediately started cracking. We'd love to do more bamboo fencing around the property (it looks so cool!) but are hesitant about buying more of this product due to the cracking issue. Wondering... Did we get a bad batch? Is it meant for certain climates and not others?
