Useful tool for the Home Mechanic

Seem to be a good quality product. Definitely worth having as I hate pulling out the useless factory scissor jack when repairing small unibody cars. I'm always worried about crushing the thin unibody these cars often are built off. I don't know why people are complaining about the smell. This is a tool, probably stored in your garage until needed, not kept on the kitchen sink. It smells like dense rubber should, like a hockey puck. You're saving some cash, being you own mechanic, as long as you are not chewing on this tool, you can live with the smell! :)

Wish I had got some sooner. Perfect for typical car needs and wish I had got some years ago instead of fighting with bits of wood to protect car.

These little pucks are super convenient when your factory jack point is only protected with bare paint. It also keep those pinch welds from bending. So far I've only used them a handful of times, and they do squish under load, but they spring right back into shape each time and I expect many more uses out if them.

They are solid, heavy duty pads. I flip them over if using them on a vehicle with out the crimped sheet metal edge that typically goes in the slot.

Pads my jack stands and keeps away the rubber moths

Bought these to replace the cracked and greasy slotted wood blocks I normally use. Protects the underside of my car while on jack stands. With the round shape, they also work well with my jack.
Initially these had a strong mothball smell but that diminished after airing out a few weeks in my garage. I'm pretty sure rubber moths will not be infesting these.
