I used the vest for photography. The pockets worked well for carrying extra lenses, gloves, and gear. The XL size easily fit over my other jackets and gave me plenty of room to hold the lenses without restricting my ability to take photos in the field. I used the vest on a cold foggy morning in Northern Minnesota. Very pleased with the purchase.

The vest arrived and upon opening the box I was happy to see that it was as described. I work as a news photographer....everything from art openings to street riots and everything in between. The vest is rugged enough for me...The zippers are of good quality and it is shocking how much you can carry with you on the job without camera bags to lug around. Mine fits my camera body, two lenses, two sets of filters, back up batteries, lens cleaners, and personal items. With all of this I still have two hands free, great mobility for getting through crowds (or running HA) and all of your stuff is right at hand. All in all a great product at a great price...Also if you mess it up, it's only 30 bucks...Highly recommended

Fits my binoculars that are 8 inches long and 6 inches tall. Just as described. Wonderful for birdwatching, hunting, traveling, and fishing. Would be good for photography. Lots of pockets and holds large and small items. The back unzips and folds intro a pocket to reveal mesh back for hot weather. The free returns is good if the size is wrong. It can be worn over a jacket or hoodie.
