After doing some research i do not recommend this item. It seems safe at first thought, but babies are suppose to lay on a firm flat surface so their airway doesn't get blocked. The concern with any item other then a firm flat surface is compromised breathing . . . or "cardiorespiratory compromise." We decided to spend a little more and just buy a nice breathable mattress.
