Basically for those people who can't touch their eyes directly with their fingers firmly enough, of which I am one. But you REALLY have to press it hard on your contact (while looking through the alignment hole), before you squeeze the sides to grip the contact (which is how it works).

The product fell short of my expectations. I was not able to successfully apply contacts using this device. I do not wear contacts regularly so I was hoping to find a product that would help with application. I found that the concave area was bigger than the contacts and just suctioned to my eyeball. Not a pleasant experience.

This thing is amazing! I suffer from essential tremor and have always had a horrible time putting in contacts. I even switched to 30 day contacts as to not go thru the debacle on a daily basis. With this optiwand I had my contacts in and everything put away in less than 5 minutes. If you've every struggled at all putting in your contacts I would highly recommend getting this item.

This particular thing here is the greatest thing ever. Well close because I just can't get my contacts out worth crap with my fingers. Makes life a whole lot easier for me.
