These Venture Gear VGPME10 Clandestine Electronic Earmuff Hearing Protection work well and are very comfortable when adjusted properly. We own a small sporting good store and shooting range so have a good bit of experience with both regular and electronic hearing protection.

The hearing protection comes with the required 2xAAA batteries, which was nice surprise. The earmuffs do a good letting normal speech through while attenuating the sharp sounds! These are also comfortable enough to be worn all day at the range.

I didn't buy these through Amazon as I normally would have since I was at the gun range at the time I purchased. I am just learning how to shoot & have taken some classes, but now I'm in practice mode. I am a 5'0" tall woman & have a small head, but these fit me great. They are adjustable & not too heavy for my head. I cannot say whether they would be comfortable for people with larger heads, but they may be. They are more comfortable than the $80 pair the range rents. The range's ear protection is electronic & you can clearly tell as you turn off & on. The Venturegear pair is not as obvious as you adjust the sound. Maybe that accounts for price difference. I am happy with these & feel they were a good buy for me. As a woman, I noticed most gun related products are larger & geared towards men so I am pleased the range suggested these.

Awesome product! They are very comfortable and the sound is crystal clear. Venture Gear puts out some great product and they didn't fail here. I will recommend to my friends!
