At least one set of these is necessary because the front strap rests on front baby's cheek and this softens it. Plus it keeps the carrier clean and can be easily removed to wash.

Love these!! We have the blue and orange sets as well as two sets of fireworks pattern we ordered directly from TwinGo (pictured). My babies not only chew on them while in the carrier, but I also unsnap them when we go to restaurants and snap them onto the high chairs so they can play while we are there. Plus they add a pop of color to the carrier! I like that I can easily wash them versus having to wash the whole carrier if they drool on that. They also help to cover the buckles which I like.

These teething pads are great. They're easily washable and absorb a fair amount of baby drool. They should be a part of the TwinGo instead of an add-on item, though.
