Normally I want to handle a hammer before I buy it but it was cold out and I decided to buy it online. When I first grabbed the new hammer my first thought was If I had found this hammer in a store I would have bought it. I really like the heft and feel of the hammer. I have not yet had a chance to give it a workout but it looks and feels up to the task.

Do not buy this hammer.
Pros: shaped like a hammer and has a metal head.
Cons: bottom black portion of handle is made from something that reeks to high heaven and is sure to give you cancer.
I wish it didn't smell so bad. I tried washing it. I can't even give it away. I had to throw it in the trash, wrapped in a plastic bag, so that the smell didn't permeate my garbage bin, making my garbage smell somehow even worse.
