Beautiful, really glass, but do not hang straight

These are actually glass, if that is not clear - I swear I looked all over the internet trying to verify this. I was not certain because other outdoor wall lights that were also "seeded glass" had reviewers disappointed that they were plastic. These are beautiful, a nice size, and my hubby said not to difficult to install (he is an electrician, however). I would not say they are of the best construction, but that was expected due to the cost. They do not hang straight, unfortunately - I had expressed concern about this to my husband based on reading other purchasers encountering this issue. He said he didn't think that would be a big deal, that the hanger could be bent. But, alas, no, that cannot be done. So, not the best, but decent for the price! We bought four for the front - but, the back and side door lights will be a different choice due to the slant once hung.

Great looking, just what we wanted for our porch, except both lights tilt back rather than hanging plumb/straight down. So odd! Seems like an easy fix to pull them forward and straighten them out, but we don't want to risk having it snap and break. Cheap enough that we'll leave them up while looking for a better quality product. So bummed!
Buy LED Edison Bulbs, and have someone who knows electricity help you install!!

I love the way these look, especially with LED Edison Bulbs...and these sconces are really affordable, and provide great light to my backyard.
But in terms of installing, it is a blind chore! There are almost no instructions included. There is just a safety warning to turn off your breaker, before you install..and a diagram of black and white wires that are included. ***But, they make no mention of the "other" copper grounding wire. If your home is new, you can probably find a use for this extra wire, but mine was built in 1998, and didn't have a connection for this extra wire..., so I was left wondering what to do with it. Upon investigation, and advice from my friends, I clipped it and capped it. I hope that this won't burn down my house!!!
The mounting bracket provided was completely useless, with my outlet box, so I had to buy another style that worked with my box.
I give the overall style and affordability, an A+ (if used with LED Edison Bulbs), but the installation of the first one was Hard!! Hopefully, the installation of the 2nd and 3rd, goes more smoothly.

This is a really nice looking sconce. However, it doesn't really fit any standard junction box. In fact mine is a pancake box. I still needed to make some adjustments with a dremil and caulk the surrounding area heavily. I will be trimming it out. I only will recommend this to someone who has a junction box that's set into the siding and not sticking out.

the lamp housing is bent, it doesn't hang vertically, what a shame. I guess the lamp is too heavy for the base to hold it in place. so it you hang it vertically, the lamp actually lean back towards the base. Need to have a stronger joint hardware.
